The war has pushed constricted supply for heating oil and diesel. A good portion of gasoline, jet fuel and diesel is refined in the Middle East. Meanwhile demand for these products has not disappeared. These products cannot escape to the world to consume do to the US navel blockade and the affects of the attacks on Iran from Israel and the US. Iran has also retaliated and constricted the flow of tankers thru the Strait of Hormuz at the same time the US is blockading the movement of oil from Iran.
